Save the Date April 18-21 to Engage with Wholesale Distribution and Manufacturing Professionals at Macola Evolve 2017
COLUMBUS, OHIO, March 1, 2017 – Exact, a global frontrunner in business software for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), today released program details for Macola Evolve 2017, its annual user conference taking place April 18-21 at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel. Built around the theme “On the Move!”, Macola Evolve 2017 will provide attendees – C-level executives, consultants, business management, IT professionals and daily users of Exact’s Macola solutions – with new tools and ideas to move their businesses forward against the backdrop of the trends impacting the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries.
This year's conference will feature keynote presentations from speech writer, author and TV personality Ben Stein and four-time Super Bowl winner Rocky Bleier. Attendees will also hear from Managing Director Alison Forsythe, Director of Product Management and Product Marketing Dan Griffin and Director of Development Derek Ochs. Exact customers and partners will provide their expertise during more than 50 breakout sessions, including a wide array of product training, business strategy and customer success stories. Customers who attend will share best practices and network with other Macola users, solution providers, technology partners, Exact leadership and product experts.
New this year is the CEO Summit and Leadership Forum, which includes sessions that will facilitate in-depth peer-to-peer dialogue. Attendees can also sign up for training courses in advance of the conference for the opportunity to receive CPE credits for participation.
Guest Speaker Overviews
Ben Stein – best known for his deadpan performance in “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” – was also a speechwriter for both Presidents Nixon and Ford, proving that one person can re-invent themselves multiple times. In his keynote, “Times Have Changed,” Stein will combine his humor and serious insights to discuss how the status quo has changed – particularly as it pertains to entrepreneurs.
Rocky Bleier, purple-heart decorated Vietnam veteran and former professional football player, will inspire attendees with a talk on how ordinary people can become extraordinary achievers. He will take the audience from his early years on the battlefields of Vietnam through his professional career with the Pittsburgh Steelers, emphasizing the lessons he learned along the way. With real-world practicality, Bleier will offer the audience tips on how to reach new levels of inner confidence, which in turn will help them run better businesses and contribute more meaningfully to their organizations.
“Macola Evolve 2017 gives our team an annual opportunity to directly interact with users and industry thought leaders and discuss the latest trends impacting our customers and their clients,” said Forsythe. “We are looking forward to another successful event and the opportunity to engage our vibrant group of users on the best tools and solutions available to meet their business needs. I personally am especially excited to participate in this year’s theme – On The Move! – as we explore how to propel our users forward in today’s business climate.”
